Black Screws or Bolts
We include black screws or bolts with all of our iron hardware. When possible, we'll give you a choice of sizes or types of screws or bolts to use for your particular installation. Each item on our website lists the options available for you to choose from.
Hardware Dimensions
All of our wrought iron hardware is made by hand. As with any handcrafted item, there may be small differences in size or shape, from one piece to the next. The overall measurements we have listed for each item are usually quite close, but not exact. For example, the spacing between the mounting holes of our iron handles can vary by a tiny amount.
Because of this, we suggest you install each handle individually, instead of pre-drilling all of the holes in your cabinets or drawer fronts at the same time.
Also, if you are planning to use our iron handles on cabinets that have already been drilled for previous hardware, please contact us first. We generally don't strive to make our handmade cabinet pulls to the same measurements as machine made hardware, so using pre-existing holes for our handles can sometimes be a challenge. We don't have many handle styles with standard spacing, but if you'll contact us with your measurements, we'll be happy to see if we have a handle style that happens to match the spacing of your existing holes.
Hardware Finish
The warm black color of our wrought iron hardware is the natural color resulting from the high temperatures reached in the forging process. Each piece is then polished and protected with several coats of a clear finish.
Under normal use in a home, our finish is usually maintenance free. Your hardware can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and a small amount of any furniture oil (like lemon oil.) You can also apply any good paste wax on top of our clear finish, for even more protection, although it’s usually not necessary. We welcome any questions you have about caring for our wrought iron accessories.
We are not able to offer our iron hardware in a rust finish.
Custom Made Items
We are not able to take on special orders for custom made items. If you are looking for something that we don’t make, and we know of a source, we'll do our best to refer you.
